Dr. Ben Larson is a board certified Optometric Physician certified by the National Board of Optometry (Parts I, II, and III) and the state of Florida. Dr. Ben Larson was raised in Toulon, Illinois and attended Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois where he studied Chemistry. There he received the Dean’s Scholarship and a varsity letter for both basketball and baseball. Dr. Larson continued his education at the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana and completed his residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery at the University of Alabama.

Dr. Ben Larson is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology, American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Central Florida Optometric Association. He is a certified CRT orthokeratologist by Paragon Vision Sciences and has been published in The Review of Optometry. Dr. Larson has been honored by receiving the following awards: Outstanding and Dedicated Service to Prevent Blindness (1997), Best Optometrist in Seminole County (2003), and Best Eyecare Center in Seminole County (2007-2011). He is an honorary faculty member at Nova-Southeastern School of Optometry, Houston School of Optometry, and Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Ben Larson resides in Lake Forest, FL with his wife Christy Larson, O.D., and their three children: Blake Riley, Braeden Cole, and Bella Grace.
