Dr. Christy Larson is a board-certified Optometric Physician certified by the National Board of Optometry (all parts) and the state of Florida. Dr. Christy Larson was raised in Ashland, Kentucky and attended Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky where she studied Biology. She then went on to receive her graduate degree at the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. Dr. Larson was a graduating member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society and was a member of the Cardinal Key National Honor Society Alumni for five years. She received the Roy E. Denny Award from the Indiana Optometric Association for her research and was granted the Ciba Contact Lens Achievement Award for clinical excellence in the field of contact lenses. Dr. Larson was also recognized for the Best Eye Care Center in Seminole County in the years 2007-2011.
Dr. Christy Larson is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Central Florida Optometric Association. She resides in Lake Forest, FL with her husband Ben Larson, O.D., and their three children: Blake Riley, Braeden Cole, and Bella Grace.
