Here at Advanced EyeCare we place a strong emphasis on routine eye examinations. These exams are thorough and ensure we completely understand your needs and can accurately prescribe a vision solution for you. On average, we recommend scheduling an appointment once every two years to ensure your eyes are remaining healthy. If you have been diagnosed with an eye condition, we recommend scheduling an appointment once or twice a year depending on the severity. During your appointment, we will review your patient history, visual acuity, perform preliminary tests, and evaluate the overall health of your eyes.

In keeping with our mission to provide the latest technology in caring for your eyes, we also offer an elective procedure called Digital Retinal Imaging that you can include as a part of your exam. The digital retinal imaging camera takes a high-resolution image of the optic nerve, retinal blood vessels, and retina (the light-sensing tissue in the back of the eye). The images are added to your medical records and assist your doctor in the early detection of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal holes, tears or detachments, and other vision-threatening conditions.

If you require an additional diagnosis or specialty treatment, you may be referred to one of the area clinicians with whom we work closely. Advanced EyeCare coordinates your specialty eye care referral, treatment, and follow-up communications with many expert providers including: retinal specialists, corneal specialists, LASIK/Cataract surgeons, neurologists, dermatologists, general practitioners, endocrinologists, and internists. We are committed to ensuring that you have the highest quality care that you deserve!
